The GE90 Performance Improvement Upgrade reduces fuel burn costs by 1.5%, and increasing the opportunity for higher payload capability resulting from reduced fuel requirements.

  • Incorporates 3D aero HP compressor airfoils and other performance improvements, including fan outlet guide vane sealing, HPT active clearance control optimization and LPT clearance reduction.
  • Increased payload capability for longer range missions, takeoff from limited airports & hot day conditions.

  • Increased thrust capability from GE90-90B to -94B rating.
  • Delivers 1.6% fuel burn reduction & more than 20°C+ of additional EGT margin.
